Exped Venus III
Hi people - I bought this tent for Ibiza vacation…
Price Paid: chf700
Hi people - I bought this tent for Ibiza vacation in summer — we were 2 — the height and shape kept things pretty cool and the air flow was good. I used it later in autumn and we camped with my dog in the vestibule.
Functionally it was fine and with the vestibule I didn't get dog claws in the ground sheet.
The tent was easy to pitch but I did practice at home b4 the journey.
I still have the tent — it's never seen water or rain so not a help there.
At 4.8kg it's not so light so I may look for a replacement as I'd like to cycle or hike.
That said I'll keep the Venus if i don't get a good price. I think i paid about chf700.

Here's what other sites are saying:
With floor space for three and plenty of headroom, the Exped Venus III Tent makes a great place to kick back during rainy weather. Two vestibules provide space for all your gear. Double doors give your tent mates and visitors easy access. The canopy can be detached to create a large space for playing cards or sorting gear. Freestanding, 3-season, 3-person shelter with generous vestibules
Depart on extended summer paddling trips, venture far into the frigid backcountry: the Venus III from Exped is a 4-season freestanding, three-person design offering excellent stability throughout the year. A polyurethane-coated ripstop polyester rainfly sheds stormy, fall weather, and three DAC Featherlite NSL poles of 9mm mm thickness give the Venus III all-season strength. Flat pole sleeves improve the overall aerodynamics of the tent, reducing the tendency to flap in heavy weather. Separate doors with large vestibules offer space to move around; the smaller vestibule includes a loft for storing wet gear. One large vestibule offers ample gear storage and enough room for two people to sit comfortably. The canopy can also be unhooked and pushed back for extra floor space. A waterproof, coated nylon floor blocks moisture at sandy, riverside campsites and on snowy spring ski traverses. The ripstop polyester canopy is suspended from the pole structure, allowing the rainfly to be used alone as a lightweight shelter or the canopy to be erected separately in warm conditions.
