User Review: Garmont Bronco
Rating: ![]()
Materials: One Piece Leather
Use: mid to heavy duty pack
Break-in Period: none!!!!!
Weight: 205lbs
Price Paid: $183 Australian
After trying on dozens of boots over a period of months, the first time I tried on the Bronco's, I knew they were the boots as they seemed to fit perfectly.
I was a little concerned that they weren't full grain leather, but the split grain is fine, especially if you use Nikwak to get that bit extra in watrerproof protection.
In terms of break in period, well I found them perfect out of the box and have experienced no problems at all. I recommend wearing liner socks to prevent blisters and this may have been what saved me from the break in period. I have used this boot all throughout the mountains in South eastern Australia and have found them magnificient. I would strongly recommend them for soneone with a high arch and who likes great heel fit.
