Very comfortable boot, much more substantial than…

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Materials: leather
Use: rough trails, mountaineering, rock and snow
Break-in Period: right out of box
Weight: pretty light
Price Paid: $120

Very comfortable boot, much more substantial than the low version. Close to the Sportiva Trango, but without the crampon compatibility. Great on the approach, super for mountaineering routes (rock) and very comfortable for my foot. Plastic/nylon insole adds stiffness. Tongue attached on one side, only drawback with this design is that it allows water to enter through unattached side when stream crossing. Great value, construction and comfort.
