Garuda Sahti

rated 3.0 of 5 stars

Garuda is no longer in business, and the Sahti has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best four-season tents for 2024.

I put this tent up in the backyard a couple times before taking it out and pitching it on snow. There are color coded poles that are threaded through sleeves that I had to think about. It is very roomy and the Garuda vent system seems to work. There is a vent at the peak and one at the top of the foot, and the fly has vents with little 4" rods you can hold the vents open with, that are held in place with velcro. Lots of pockets on the walls for storage. The vestibule is very large. The tent has lots of details, like three zipper pulls to place an opening in the main door where you want, lots of tie downs on the fly that make it bombproof, and separate screen zippers. I got this on sale for $330 at Northern Mountain Supply.
