Summary

I love these pants, and I will wear them to work, to the ski hill, on trail or to a wedding. They're not waterproof, but they're warm-but-not-too-warm at room temperatures and don't get overheated during activity in cold weather. They have removable suspenders decent sized pockets too.

Pros

  • Breathable
  • Warm!
  • Cute :)

Cons

  • Ankle gaiter Velcro comes undone sometimes
  • Can't cinch the pant legs
  • Removing suspenders takes some practice...

I'm a petite, 5'3" girl who normally wears size 6, American. I've owned these pants for a year, and I think I wear them at least every other day anytime the weather is below 35F. The small GoLite Women's Softshell Pants fit me well.

I've had good experiences wearing these pants during may different winter sports of moderate intensity. They're great for winter walking or biking, good for classic skiing (but too warm for skate skiing). There aren't any adjustments for size, other than the suspenders.

The pants aren't waterproof, but they don't hold moisture at all either. I would only put a thin base layer under it though. Not super durable fabric, so don't go cutting down any trees in these.
