The Granite Gear Escape A.C. 60 Pack is built on the Air Current suspension, using Cordura brand fabrics, making for a comfortable ultralight pack that's durable and loaded with features. Escape A.C. suspension is the next step in the evolution of ultralight frame technology. It's similar to Granite Gear's award winning Vapor suspension, however, instead of being a flat sheet with flat foam, the Air Current consists of a molded sheet and a molded foam pad. Not only does it fit the 3D contours of your back, and is engineered to flex with your movement, the Air Current suspension has integrated air channels, which makes for a cooler carry. The Escape pack body is a top loader with a floating lid. On the pack's front, there's a large stash pocket with stretch panels that can accommodate much of the gear you need to have close at hand. The pack's LineLoc compression system stabilizes the load without adding much weight. The side pockets are flat, covered with a stretch bottle pocket that's angled perfectly for bottle access without taking off the pack. There's also a pocket that perfectly accommodates our Cloud Cover rainfly (sold separately), so it's always ready in a downpour.

The Granite Gear Escape A.C. 60 pack incorporates the new Air Current suspension, creating a comfortable, ultralight pack that's durable and loaded with useful features. Air Current suspension features a 3-dimensional molded framesheet and foam pad that fits the contours of your back and is engineered to flex with your movements. Integrated air channels help create a cool and dry carrying experience by allowing air to circulate between your back and the pack's back panel. Precurved hipbelt is padded with dual-density foam to comfortably shift load weight from shoulders to hips. Top-loading design with floating lid allows you to increase or decrease pack capacity as needed; zippered lid pocket holds small essentials. Large front stash pocket with stretch panels and vertical zipper accommodates gear you need to have close at hand. LineLoc compression system effectively stabilizes the load with less added weight than traditional compression straps. Hydration-compatible design features reservoir pocket and drink tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately). Flat, low-profile side pockets are covered with stretchy, angled water bottle pockets that are easy to access without removing the pack. Dual ice axe loops let you lash on tools and trekking poles. Special pocket keeps your pack cover (sold separately) at the ready in case of a sudden downpour.
