Excellent value.

Originally I bought this tarp to use at Philmont. It performed very well we had rain every day and no one's gear got wet. I had enough space for 11 backpacks to be stored under it. Easy setup with 2 hiking poles, very compact and light. Will be using in the future with my hammock.

I bought this tarp because it was the only 8x10 tarp available in Damascus, VA, when I walked through on my AT thru hike. I hated how much it cost. But it has proved its worth over and over again. I have slept under this thing in all conditions, and set it up in a million different configurations. It's simply beautifull!!!
The cantenary cuts make this thing pitch like a drum head. And the sewn fabric around the perimeter make it tough as nails. It came with adjustable tightening straps at the stake down points but I thought they were too heavy so I cut them off and accidentally cut my finger in the process. Ouch!
Bottom line, this is the only tarp you need to consider! Thanks again, Sun Dog Outfitters. You really made my trip with this thing!
