This pack is absolutely awesome. Quality of construction is the best I have seen. This pack is also very comfortable to carry and easy to pack. It is a top-loader as well as a front-loader thanks to a zip open panel. It has a HDPE framesheet for support. I have used this pack to carry climbing equipment to local climbing areas and it has performed flawlessly. It is the perfect size for day hikes which require extra clothing or equipment. I bought it to replace a Gregory Day-and-a-Half pack that I have used since 1986 (also a great pack) and am not the least bit disappointed with it. Everyone interested in a pack this size should consider buying it.
