Gregory Sketch 22
A very well made, surprisingly versatile daypack that carries well with average loads.
Pros
- Simplicity of the design
- Comfort with moderate loads
- A useful range of adjustibility
Cons
- Small patch pockets on lower back are tight
- Interior lining is a bit thin for my taste
I needed something smaller than my TNF Exocet for general use.
The Sketch handles a 15.6" LT with no problem, the inside mesh pocket takes the charging cord/mouse easily.
It carried 6 full size hardback books without strain as well.
The outside patch pockets are not that useful and hard to get into, but good for small items.
The left side slash pocket is better suited to phones/sunglasses and etc.
The comfort is surprising for such a small daypack.
It was an end of season buy, else I would have gotten a 28-30 liter daypack instead
The overall quality is very good, but it's a Gregory so that is to be expected.
The nice thing is the clean shape and no garish horrid colors/logos like O***** and J*******... (black w/light blue trim/lining)
For what it was designed for I will rate it as being very good.
