The UCO Grilliput Grill is perfect for a backpacking setup that is a little cramped for room, but expects the possibility of cooking some fresh caught fish or something of the like. The Grilliput collapses down to nothing and can be kept in a side compartment in a pack or even hung on an exterior pack hook if needed.

Pros

  • Amazing collapsing design
  • Perfect height for most pack stoves and burners

Cons

  • A little on the heavy side
  • Threads in screw-in ports could become dirty with extended use.

The UCO Grilliput is an amazing piece of camping or backpacking "kitchen" hardware. The design is perfect, and so far with the unit I purchased last season I see no faults in the workmanship or ease of use when proper care is taken. The height is perfect for a small wood or alcohol burner and it is very easy to set up and break down.

The compactness of the collapsed grill leaves much more room than a camp grate would and can slide into most side pockets of packs. The cleaning notch in the end is perfect for scraping grime and soot from the grill bars.

The Grilliput seems as though it will last for a long time, however, I will be sure to clean every nook and cranny of it (including the threads of the screw in legs and end bars) and if someone were to neglect this simple duty, the grill could become bothersome to assemble and dissemble.

Overall great product.

Great little grill, compact and lightweight

Pros

  • Compact
  • Lightweight 1.2lbs
  • Easy to assemble

Cons

  • Bars for grill a little thin

Great little grill for 1 to 2 people, compact and lightweight (1.2lbs). Did I mention compact? You won't find another grill that isn't bulky. The bars for the top of the grill are a little flimsy, but strong enough to hold anything you want to cook.

If you're looking for a grill that packs small, you won't find another. Paired with the FireBowl it's the perfect little grill.

It's a nice compact camping grill that collapses and stores in itself very easily. It's perfect for grilling two steaks for two people on a campout. It's easy to clean with the cleaning groove on one of the tubes.

Pros

  • Compact
  • Light
  • Self contained

Cons

  • None that I've noticed.

Assembles easily.

High quality SS materials.

Have not had any trouble with the components under repeated assembly.

I've had it for several years now.  It's performed flawlessly.
