This 10 ft hammock from Hammeck is lightweight, packs down small, and came with everything I needed to get hanging.
- Large color selection
- Easy setup
- Comes with suspension
- A bit narrow
Hammeck offers 10 and 11 foot hammocks in many colors. Mine is blaze orange and 10 ft. It came with whoopie slings, tree straps and toggles, and an adjustable structural ridgeline. The material is lightweight and the entire package with stuff sack codes in under 15 oz.
I took this on a two-night trip to the Smokies and it performed exceptionally well. It has been used for about 10 nights at this point and is showing no signs of wear.
My only wish is that it was a bit wider to allow for sitting upright in it using the side as a back and headrest. It is 59" wide, but that does allow you to have a good field of view when laying in it.
For $50, you get a complete, ready-to-hang, backpacking weight hammock.
The Breezy is our simple, plain-Jane, sewn-channel gathered end hammock.
It is available in Single Layer (SL) and Double Layer (DL). With the DL, there is an opening between the two layers that will allow a sleeping pad to be installed.
The Breezy comes ready to hang, including adjustable whoopie slings (made from black Amsteel 7/64"), 2.5-inch aluminum toggles, 6' tree straps (1" in width, polyester), and a stuff sack.
The Breezy is available in two different lengths; 10 and 11 feet.
