User Review: Herman Survivor

I was thinking of purchasing a new pair of Hermans last hunting season since all the other cheap (read Chinese) boots wouldn't hold up, leaked, laces weren't even any good. My old pair of Hermans (which I still have) were bought for $55 in 1977 at a shoe store in Saginaw which is long gone. These admittedly aren't as warm as they once were (thirty years or so of heavy use) but they are still water proof! Still good footwear for the fall season. But after all the comments I've read about Walmart Hermans, forget it.
