Price Paid: $100
These are a lightweight and comfortable boot which don't need any break-in period at all (fit like a sneaker). I bought them for light hiking. I have used them for about six hikes now and have found that the soles and uppers are starting to separate, mostly from one hard day of hiking. My feet even seem somewhat beat up from the uneven terrain of that one hard hike. I think I am going to buy a sturdier boot. If you just do even terrain hiking, these are probably okay, just don't take them on serious hiking.
Here's what other sites are saying:
The Hi-Tec Excursion II hiking boot for men features Dri-Lex Work Horse 2-Zone comfort lining with Hydrofil which helps wick moisture away from your foot allowing a more comfortable feel. The Vibram rubber outsole provides maximum traction on both wet and dry surfaces, while the compression-molded EVA midsole offers comfort cushioning.
