Nice boots at a very affordable price. Quality construction, comfortable, lightweight, excellent ankle support, Thinsulate linings, padded and gusseted tongue, lugged soles, brass hardware, easy break-in. Even better with a good set of insoles (Superfeet, Spenco). Just as good as a pair of Italian boots (don't know the brand) that I bought a while ago which cost me over twice as much and were much harder to break in. Good for day hikes on rough terrain too. Just make sure to treat the leather regularly with a waterproofer/conditioner like Nikwax or mink oil as leather is not factory treated. Best fit for medium to high volume feet.
