Love, Love, Love this backpack! I use it for my 4 year old's carry on bag when we travel. I bring all of his stuffed animals and toys that we bring for the trip in the main portion of the backpack and put it in the overhead bin.

The detachable portion is great for DVD player, DS, coloring books and snacks.  Lots of space in both portions. The best part is it has wheels and he can wheel his own bag just like the grown ups!

Cannot recommend this bag more strongly for people traveling with children:)
