The Icebug Men's MR BUGrip Trail Running Shoe uses dynamic steel studs to grip ground like it's never been gripped before whether you run in icy winters, steamy summers, or all year long. These studs absorb impact amazingly. When you apply weight to the shoe, the BUGrip studs recede into the rubber sole. The more weight you apply, the more the studs recede. On slick surfaces like ice, snow, and mud, they remain extended for better bite, and on asphalt and concrete, they sink in. On varied terrain, the studs work independently from each other and adapt accordingly to whatever appears underfoot. The MR BUGrip Shoe's PU coated nubuck uppers repel water, while their mesh linings manage moisture from within. Icebug added molded EVA midsoles with TPU stabilizers for cushioning and support. *Not for indoor use.

Lightweight and ultra-stable, these trail-runners utilize retractable carbide spikes for superb traction on wet and icy surfaces. Combination synthetic leather/nylon uppers offer lightweight durability and water- and snow-resistance for all-season performance. Moisture-control nylon mesh linings transport sweat away from feet and dry quickly. Padded, gusseted tongues protect insteps from lace pressure and keep out debris; reflective accents improve visibility in low-light conditions. Removable EVA insoles with ventilating perforations feature heel pad inserts for absorbing excess heel shock. Molded EVA midsoles provide optimal cushioning and comfort; molded arches and midsole supports maintain stability on rough terrain. Innovative BUGripĀ® outsoles use durable carbon rubber and carbide tipped spikes to maintain grip on slick and wet surfaces. Spikes actively retract into outsole lugs on harder surfaces and protrude on soft terrain--mixed surfaces combine these two actions for solid traction.
