Best lightweight backpack ever. Had it for over four…

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $80?

Best lightweight backpack ever. Had it for over four years, no problems yet.

The only chance i would not have this bag with me is if what i need for the day doesn't fit. Side separate opening is good for many options, easy reach around while on the go!

I want it with me when i die.

New for 2005 are the Rox top-loader alpine packs by Indigo. The Cafe Pocket hydration system, which was introduced with the Rox 18 and 28, is now incorporated in our new line of alpine packs. The Cafe Pocket holds 2 liters of water and access is now on both sides of the pack. The Rox 40 and 60 also includes the new Envelope closure system, a new harness, shoulder straps and hip belts. To lighten the load, we are using a new 210D high tenacity nylon fabric, with great abrasion qualities. Specifications Rox 18 Alpine Pack: Weight: 1 lb, 8 oz; .85 kg Capacity: 18 Liters, 1100 cubic inches Key Features: Lightweight, High Tenacity Nylon construction. YKK Waterproof exterior zippers. “Cafe” Pocket, one-handed access to 2 liters of water, food, a hat or shell. This pocket keeps it's shape and is quick access even when the pack is stuffed to the max. 2 “Rig-it /Rip-it” straps. “Rig-it” as standard compression, “Rig-it” as accessory straps around the front, or “Rip-it” off for a clean no hang-up pack. Plastic frame sheet and 9” aluminum stay. Left side mesh accessory pocket. The “Fast Back”, padded cool back panel, is made for moving and grooving. Dual density laminated shoulder straps with stretch woven fabric. Climbing with the Rox 18 is fast food easy. Clipping into a belay, with 4 choices, shoulder strap loops, top or front handle. Hauling, clip the top and front handle and pull. The “Hang Back” hauling angle protects the “Fast Back” back panel and lets the Rox slide past all the pack eating features a route has to offer. The front pocket is quick access to a headlamp and power food. Inside wallet and key pocket. Removable 1” waist belt and rescue whistle sternum strap.
