Goliath Expedition Pack

rated 5 of 5 stars This is a monster pack at 7119 CI. I go back country for three weeks at a time and need the space. I grew up on external frame packs where you can strap an incredible amount of gear on. This is about the largest well made (USA) pack that I could find. I need the room as I go back country for three week stretches every summer. I grew up on external frame packs which I still have a fondness for, the ability to strap everything on them is nice. I have had the pack for over 10 years. The weight distribution… Full review

rated 4.5 of 5 stars If you haven't tried a pack from this USA-made, California-based company, then you are seriously missing out. In a market where overseas-produced items seem to be the rule of thumb, Jandd stands out as a small-ish company that is dedicated to their consumers and to serious quality. The Jandd Osher pack is no exception. The website boasts that the company uses top-notch materials and techniques (bar tacks, seam tape, to name a few) and they are not blowing smoke. Every inch of the pack is finished… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars This daypack is bomb-proof. I bought mine back in 1993 and am just now getting around to replacing it with a new Mogen. I've taken it through many hard, long, hot, dusty trips in Asia as my only piece of gear, or crammed full of all the essentials. rated 5 of 5 stars Got it on ebay along with a Jansport external for $35. I love it! I have used lots of packs over the years and this is one of the best. Took a trip to the southwest and needed to carry lots of supplies and water, hence the 75 lbs,. It held up great. I had to take the little mini aluminum stay out of the lumbar pad, adjust the shoulder straps and adjust the back stays. After doing these things it rode very well and never gave me any problems. The shove it/crampon patch will carry almost anything. Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars A true steal when it was offered for $199, I would still shell out the retail price for it if I had to. I've owned it for only three years but put it through a significant amount of usage (and abuse). Still looks brand new. I improperly adjusted the fit of the pack before a week long trek but I still didn't notice the difference. I dig the double bottom, hardcore construction, and choice of materials. It's hard to find the company, but it should be worth it. Full review
