User Review: K2 Axon Pack
|
Rating: ![]()
Design: Top loading and side loading (very handy)
Size: Not certin ~35 liters
Number of Pockets: 2 water bottle pockets, 2 hip belt pockets, 1 main compartment w/ hydration sleeve. 1 shovel sleeve, and 1 padded zipper compartment
Max. Load Carried: 40-50+ (don't do that though...) It will hold together but I wouldn't really want to put more than 15-25lbs in it
Height of Owner: 5'9
Price Paid: $80
I bought the pack 3-4 years ago in Alaska. The pack probably won't cost as much anywhere else. The padded camera/goggle pocket works fantastically. It is astonishing how much you can strap to or cram into this pack. Compresses nicely and is quite comfortable. Good pack to hike with. Fantastic snowboard/ski adaptations. I have repaired it once or twice but any damage that it may have sustained would have destroyed any other bag.
