Summary

I used the BK 7 for one month in the mountains just south of Tehachapi, CA. It's rugged and holds its edge.

Pros

  • Rugged
  • Multiple uses
  • Fits onto belt easily
  • Holds its edge very well
  • Additional Velcro pocket for my Victorinox Huntsman.

Cons

  • I had to tighten the handle down after chopping a tree.

I've had the gear for two months, using it every day, all day, for a month.

I ended up wrapping athletic tape around the handle for better grip when my hands were sweating.

I did have to tighten the allen bolt (there are three in the handle) after I chopped a tree (6" diameter) down.
