Although these boots were comfortable, after less than 6 months they were letting in water. I did the high route from Chamonix to Zermatt and my feet were constantly wet. In the end I resorted to putting my feet in plastic bags to keep my feet dry.
On close inspection I found that the Vibram soles were splitting, which isn't good after 10 months. On returning to the UK I went to the retailer (Sport Direct), who said to take it up with Karrimor, who in turn told me to take it up with the retailer.
Needless to say I won't be dealing with these people ever again. P.S. the 1 star is for comfort
