The Combi Water Filter is comparable to the Katadyn Pocket filter yet it has an activated carbon stage in addition to the 0.2 micron ceramic element, and its pump rate is a bit faster (1.2 L per min vs 1 L per min for the Pocket). The carbon removes chemicals such as chlorine as well as bitter tastes and odors.
