Summary
Needed a shoe for a wet cold weekend.
Pros
- Waterproof
- Warm
- No break-in
Cons
- Tongue design
Need a shoe on Wed. to do a river hike on Thurs. It needed to be waterproof and warm with no break-in period.
I chose these and it accomplished all the above without question. The only thing that removed half a star is the tongue design is webbed, naturally for waterproofing, but the right side just won't behave. the right side of the tongue just seems like it has a little extra material....I really want to give it 5 stars but can't becuz I can't fix it.
I eventually forgot about it...after all, 9.5 miles of walking, carrying 40 lbs., non-stop, there's not even a red spot on my feet. Keep in mind, the shoes are only a few days old.
I would highly recommend them and may even buy the mids for winter. Excellent.
