Apart from being warm these shoes dissappointed me.

Just today I broke the upper strap (outer boot) just before I ventured onto a 150 meter 90 degree icefall. I would really hate if the strap broke half way up.

Not to mention a GIANT crack on the same bood I worked up last year while some not-so-extreme-but-interesting snowboarding descent from Monte Coco in Italy. It widened after a bit-more-extreme descent from Jalovec in Slovenia. Sure it was -20 or -25 Centigrade, but this shoe was worn by Kamerlander and several others on Everest. Kamerlander tried to ski off the top - AND DID NOT BREAK IT.

I weigh 75 kilos...

This shoe is a bit of a disappointment.

I am not sure what shoe to buy now, becaouse this is the best of the best. And it's still not good enough. I need a reliable shoe. I have a wife and a kid. I have no intention to die beacuse of a faulty equipement.
