Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $400

Simple unreal. This has to be the warmest jacket I have ever owned. I counted 14 pockets plus technically the seat, when zipped up can be considered a large pocket. That's 15 pockets!!!!

This jacket is heavy, thick and extremely warm. I only wear it when the temperature really drops and even then I sometimes find myself unzipping it. I have thought about selling it as it is a bit extreme for me but it's such a cool jacket I can not bring myself to do so.

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Fabric: Two-layer Gore-Tex® nylon shell fully taped
Fill: 775
Price Paid: $399 + shipping and handling

This parka is awesome to say the least. I wore it outside for 30 minutes at night with a wind chill of about 10 degrees fahrenheit with only a T-shirt. No cold spots. I was nice and warm. The hood is unbelieveable. It goes beyond the face and the fur ruff helps to cover your face but you can still breathe easy enough. The knit cuffs are a nice addition.

It has Gore-tex with 775 fill down. The length of the parka goes below the butt and there are numerous pockets. There is a drop down seat for your butt if you need it. I have experienced cold spots in many of the so-called top brand jackets out there.

The only reason I did not give this jacket 5 stars is because the handwarmer pockets are not insulated. This is a problem with virtually every jacket/parka. LL Bean has an excellent no hassle return policy.

Note: I am not affiliated with LL Bean in any way. I am just amazed at how great this parka is. The weight is approximately 5 pounds I think. So for those who go lite this could be an issue. Plus, they have tall sizes for those with longer than usual arms and upper torsos. Comfort range is listed 5 degrees to -50 degrees fahrenheit. Also, there is a drawcord waist in case your weight tends to fluctuate over time. This jacket is great. Buy it now!!
