These shoes have been good to me. At first I thought there would be problems with the plastic-lined uppers (that's right, plastic!) but it never was. I had these shoes for about a year and a few months before the toe wore through. They were great all day shoes and good all-around performers. They do stretch though. In the end, after the shoe would warm up, my sweaty foot would slide around a bit in the shoe, making edging difficult. But if someone were to size them down a few numbers more than usual, that problem could possibly be avoided.
