Durable and flexible roughout leather uppers provide lasting wear and breathability; nylon mesh tongues and side panels add flex and comfort. RFS 3D Flex™ ankles articulate for side-to-side flexibility on uneven terrain and have sturdy lock-out support collars for the ups and downs. Seam-sealed Gore-Tex XCR linings with wicking nylon interiors block water leakage and offer enhanced breathability for comfortable feet. However, in my experience from hiking trails in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, I experienced fast tread wear-out and started to experience slipping and sliding when planting my feet on slanted rocks and other inclined terrain."
