User Review: La Sportiva Trango Ice

La Sportiva Trango Ice
Above: The current Trango Ice, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Use: Weekend ice climbs and some long glacier slogs
Break-in Period: a day or two
Weight: 3lbs, the lightest alpine boots I have ever worn
Price Paid: $395

A fabulous alpine boot for ice and crampon-related work. Warm and comfortable, but they do run narrow, so size your boots up a half size to make sure you have adequate width. Good torsional rigidity, good flex when walking. Very nice design.
