These boots have been replaced by the Civetta, but if you're still using a pair, beware.

I have just cracked the shells on my second pair, a replacement for the first pair that cracked two winters ago. Fortunately, I was not in the middle of nowhere, but I'm still irked that these boots just don't last. I get out a bit, but nothing near professional levels of use, and yet, once the temp gets down to -20 C, crack goes the Denali.
