Use: day hikes
Break-in Period: too much
Weight: 2 lbs.
Price Paid: $66
This shoe is tight on the forefoot and very loose in the heel cup. I've never had a quality shoe fit like this. Because of the thick padding in the tongue, it is hard to lace the shoe so that the front is looser and the heel cup tight. The heel cup is never tight enough. These shoes will last forever because I rarely use them. If the fit was good, they appear built to last anyway.

Use: Rough Trail and Everyday use
Break-in Period: 4-5 days
Price Paid: $79
I have traveled to Central America, Egypt, and all over town here the past 2 years with these shoes on and they are still in great shape.
