This pack is only slightly smaller than my internal-frame backpack. It works almost as well, with the waistbelt being the only difference. If it were beefier I would use this pack for overnights. This little pack does it all! It's been snowshoeing as well as hiking through Death Valley. Holds everything we need regardless of the destination. The shape fits my long torso no problem. Straps are durable for the most part, but when the stiching began to fray on a compression strap Lowe fixed it in quick order at no charge. I would recommend this pack to anyone for its comfort and verstility, as well as Lowe's service.
