Excellent, breathable upper on these rare (in the States) gaiters.

Nothing gets in these babies, and the Cordura is plenty thick. Plenty of length: the XL's are over the bulk of the calf for me. Triplepoint is a nice material, very light. Not sure it would be as durable as GoreTex, but it breathes better (good for me). No matter, as the Cordura will withstand just about anything.

The extra length and tailored over-the-boot cut really grants protection around the tongue area of the boot. The hook and loop closure is wide as described, and will last a long time. Top rate hardwear, with a stainless look and beefy draw cord.

My only wish is that the drawcord was replaced with a strap and buckle at the top, but otherwise a fantastic product for the price.

The best gaiter to be had for STP's discount price, and right there with the best even at retail (better boot cut than my crocs).
