Brilliant backpack, used it in Patagonia. Excellent during long hikes (+15 km) cause very comfortable even with 18 kg on your back. Even the pump systems works (not a gadget).

If needed you can put a lot in there, but I do miss 2 small side bags...and zippers could be working better (new?).

Design is ok, not too fancy or technical just cristal clear what you get. I owned another Alpine Lowe before this one, a Kangtega. Used it for 15 years and never let me down. The fabric itself in the '80 seems to be more sturdy if I compare with the recent Summit.
