Ease of Setup: EASY
Weight: 4.3 KG

Well I finally bought one. The Base Camp is patterned after THE NORTH FACE VE 25 and boy was I surprised. Taped seams ..great YUNAN "Y " stakes ..reflective cord ..probably the best vented tent around.

Inside there are lots of mess pockets as well as zippers that unzip to open two large vents in the top of roof. 4 equal length ALUM 9.5 poles and one vestibule pole. Plenty of room!

Luxe Outdoors really outdid themselves on this tent. It's hard to imagine getting this quality for a price this low. The tent stands up to most any condition, when they say they been used at EVEREST, they mean it.

4.3 KG as far as the weight goes. Doors on each end and the vestibule is HUGE. There are MOSS type holders that you clip your poles into. This maintains very good rigidity in the pole to tent interface.

I really couldn't be happier with this tent. Would recommend it to anyone.

This tent is definitely a bargain. Excellent quality, large and built to take it. Pole quality, stakes, seams, etc. are as good as I have seen.

Used it as a basecamp for fishing this summer and recently on a sheep hunt into the Brooks Range in Alaska, everything you would want with the exception of lacking a footprint. Setup is straightforward Temps into the 20s, wind which did not affect it nor the rain. Seems to be bombproof at this point.

Like the large entrances and vestibule. Tried Luxe to get a footprint but to no avail. Everything else is superb and very good price for the quality. Could easily fit four small to medium sized adults in it.

Can't wait to try it in the real cold, but it looks like it will be great.

Update: September 27, 2011

Basecamp used for the fall moose hunts in interior Alaska near Fairbanks.

Excellent quality overall.  Wife and daughter set it up in a very short time.

Rainy weather with temps into the twenties. Very comfortable with three adults and gear, easy to vent plus its warm when you crank it down. We liked the two entries and vestibules. Lots of gear pockets around the sides.

Performed flawlessly and am looking forward to the winter to give it a try in subzero temps.

Exceptional value for the buck.
