Mad Rock Shark

rated 3.5 of 5 stars
photo: Mad Rock Shark climbing shoe

A very good shoe for an entry level climber providing good toe and heel hooks and decent edging and smearing capabilities. I wear a street 8 and bought these in 8 too as it was my first pair and did not want a painful break in period; did stretch about a half size and powerful heels hooks are difficult now...not very aggressive for climbs of upper grades...the rubber wore off the toe after 8 months of climbing 2-3 days a week (could be due to inept footwork of a beginner like myself)...DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT FOR A BEGINNER...

Use: mostly indoor gym climbing and occasional bouldering day trips
