From REI:
"Mammut® ropes have safeguarded generations of climbers—and this one is an ideal workhorse for a day at the crags. This 10.5mm diameter rope runs smoothly through pro and offers excellent handling characteristics. Kernmantle design combines a durable braided sheath with a shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. Best for use in dry conditions."

From RockCreek:
"The 10.5mm Eiger Rope by Mammut is a thick, solid rope that fairs well in alpine, or trad situations with its beefy diameter and smooth handling when gliding over stone. The 10mm Passion Rope offers unprecedented success in minimizing rope drag, absorption of less dirt and is super easy to handle due to Mammut's Coating Finish process. This process coats Teflon on the rope's individual strands in order reduce friction between the rope strands, allowing the load to be equally distributed creating a safer fall. Mammut has been making ropes since the early 1800's, so they know what is important, that is why every single rope has a friction resistant, colored, middle marking, helping you to find the center of your rope, which can keep your climbing trip from being an epic."

"Didn't particularly like this rope. Neither did my friends; they insisted that I return it, which I did. "Too much play," they said. Static elongation is 8%, which means that when you're on toprope and pop off the face, the rope slowly stretches and drops you down several feet below your last hold. Sucks. I traded up to a New England Glider and am very pleased."

"A great rope for top roping, rappelling, and short approach day climbs where weight is not a big factor or where sharp edges are abundant and a skinny rope with less sheath would make you nervous. I really lke the way it handles, runs smooth through the pro, and is easy to clip on lead. I would like it even more if came in a dry version."
