Best nylon hiking shorts I have worn.
Pros

- Breathable
- Quick drying
- Fit
Cons
- Price
Love these shorts! I have owned my share of hiking shorts over the years and these are my favorites so far. I bought these a few months ago on sale for $40. Otherwise, I would not have paid the $70 retail price.
The problem I've had with many other shorts before is fit. They fit either too constricting or too baggy. The Marmot Bastille Shorts fit just right. The woven midweight fabric has the perfect feel, not too thin and flimsy or too heavy and stiff.
I also like that the back pockets don't have those annoying velcro closures or flaps. The side pocket flaps are sewn down on all edges, so you don't get that flap edge curl up like on other cargo style shorts.
