photo: Marmot EOS 2P three-season tent

I have tested my Eos 2p tent in the mountain of Olympus in Makedonia Greece for 5 nights in 2.700 m. It was great for one person but I think that it is a little small for two persons. The weight of 1,8 kilos was very good for 8 hours walking in the mountain.

The only problem I had it was that I couldn’t stretch the vestibule. It was very moist during the night but I was dry inside the tent. I think that I made a good purchase.

Design: three season Freestanding tent
Sleeps: 1
Ease of Setup: Very easy
Weight: 1,8 kilograms

Nice looking, nice weighing. Marmot must, however, be a bit out to lunch on their gear field testing. The tent basically includes an oval "rain catcher" on the top which does not shed water and leads to water forcing the fly to sag a bit. Then the condensation comes down right on your bag where the sag is.

The tent is also only suitable for 1 person and that is if you stand under 5'4".

Design: three-season freestanding
Sleeps: 1
Ease of Setup: easy
Weight: 3 lbs 14 oz
