This is my first Marmot product. Bought it to use as a good weather tent. There's nothing more amazing than stargazing at 10,000 feet, so I wanted the screen top. Marmot was one of only a few that offered a quality tent with a basic, easy to pitch design and a complete screen top. Have used it twice now - early spring and peak of summer.

First trip I pitched it by myself, with a little help from my three-year-old. It was super easy. Had the fly on the entire night due to passing thunderstorms. Stayed completely dry inside despite the rain. The fly is very secure and has plenty of room to keep gear dry.

Second trip was a 15 mile pack into the High Uintas of Utah. We (two adults and two children) opted to carry this instead of two REI Quarterdome 2-man tents... the weight was similar and the extra room in the Marmot was awesome!

My brother and I are each 6'. There was headroom to spare, enough that we could have brought packs inside if necessary. My brother was very impressed with the space, especially since many tents barely fit a 6' tall person.

Bottom line - I LOVE it! I would give it 5 stars but I took off a half because I would have added extra stake locations on the door of the fly to make it more functional - ie using the center door vs. the side door while the fly is attached. No big deal, though. I'd still buy it again!
