I've used it for about half year and I love it. It perfectly combines breathability and wind protection. I used it for running workouts and it was the best choice for cold weather runs.
Also i like its compactness and lightweight - you can put it even in a small pocket.
the only thing i regret - i spoiled in in a washing machine while washing it with some stuff with heavy buttons :((

I ordered one of these online and wasn't sure how it would look on me, but it is really a handsome jacket, I found, once I tried it on.
Besides looking great, I got my first chance to try it out on a all-day hike in an all-day rain, today. Daytime temperatures were about 76F, and although I thought I would be uncomfortable wearing a jacket hiking in warm weather, I never once felt too hot with it on.
This jacket will keep you from soaking through, but it's not going to keep you 100% dry. I'm not sure a jacket light enough for backpacking and comfortable enough to wear while hiking is made which will keep you 100% dry and anything heavy enough to keep the rain out completely is probably going to make you sweat so much that you end up soaked anyway.
I'm happy with this one.

I picked this jacket up at TJ Max for $30 and couldn't believe how lightweight it was. Used it on my backpacking trip and ended up getting quite a bit of rain and never got wet, of course I had my pack on to help shed the rain too. Now that I know what model it is I'm going to order another one.

For a lightweight backpacking wind shirt that has some water resistance, this thing is very nice. 3 oz and packs into a pocket. This did a great job keeping me warm crossing over the Rolands Pass area in CO. But, it is not waterproof. We got poured on with rain and hale and after a few minutes of heavy rain, I was wet. I think this is great outer shell over a fleece or base to keep you comfortable in wind with 40-50 degree temps. But if you do expect to be out in the rain, this will not keep you dry. I love Marmot products and got this on sale at REI.
