Awesome pants! Used for ice climbing and winter climbing…

Awesome pants! Used for ice climbing and winter climbing last year. Lightweight and warm.

Only complaints were;
1. The extra-durable fabric along the inside of the ankle area ripped a little too easily from crampon contact.

2. At $224 these were way to pricey for cold weather pants. Since you will only use them between Nov-Mar. They are too heavy for warm/mild weather camping/climbing. I had a gift certificate that I used to buy these and definitely don't recommend buying them for that price.

Other than those minor gripes, Marmot did well with the design and fit and these pants!
