User Review: Marmot Trango Sweater

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Fabric: Nylon
Fill: Polarguard RD
Price Paid: $80 (on sale)

Very comfortable, warm, light, heavy-duty jacket. The kind of jacket that you will always put in the pack: not to use it extensively while climbing (breathability is medium-low, but it has long pit zips), but in any other situation. Colors give a sort of cheap aspect, but the jacket works really fine. Less delicate than down jackets (like the Marmot Down sweater or the TNF Nuptse), far more wind resisting, and if it gets wet it is not a tragedy (dries really quickly).

The only complaints are the pocket zips, that get stuck frequently. I will also suggest Marmot to use a TNF stuffing system (a big external pocket as stuff sack), because the internal pocket is delicate and irregularly shaped. Very good product.
