Marmot Vapor 45
Above: The current Vapor 45, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

When Eagle Creek discontinued their Alpine Series packs, I was distraught as they produced the most comfortable pack I had ever owned. But now, I have found a formidable replacement. Both comfortable and able to carry a good load for alpine climbs of up to three days, the Vapor 45 is an almost pefect pack. Marmot has really got a winner with this pack...too bad that they have now also discontinued this model. If you find one, pick it up. You won't be sorry, but make sure you get one that fits your torso length.
