The pack has all the features you need, except the most important thing, (in my opinion) padding. I previously had the Arc'Teryx Bora 60, and thought I'd try the MEC brand, since it's considerably cheaper, almost $200 less. However, I realize why. The padding on the Brio is lacking. With med/heavy loads the weight of the pack is felt on your shoulders even on short 10-15 min. hikes to the crag.
