"I've worn through three different models of gaiters, and the MEC Elahos were the least expensive and the toughest. I recommend them for treeplanting or bush work where you want something that is good and tough without being to heavy or hot.

However, for activities like hiking and snowshoeing these gaiters lack the fit and finesse of a gaiter like the OR Crocs."
