This is an excellent winter sleeping bag for those of you (like me) who can't afford a down bag. I have the long model which ways 2.4kg. (The regular is 2.2kg). This might seem a little heavy but the -20 C rating really holds up. In fact I was warm in it a few degrees below this rating (up here in the cold Canadian north AY!).
3M Liteloft is an excellent synthetic, much lighter than Polarguard HV. The is a little hard to pack into it's stuffsack (This might be because I have the long version). And it is a little bulky once packed. But I guess that's to be expected with a synthetic of this warmth.
Overall, a great buy (like all MEC gear I've used).
