"Excellent jacket that will now be discontinued and replaced by the MEC Aegis Jacket (340 $CDN). A few changes: ampler cut (longer and wider), exclusively MI270 nylon (not ripstop), a collar, stiffened overflaps, integrated mid-height bungee cord (accessed from glove pockets), simpler chaff guard, stiffened visor, new Napoleon pocket, larger glove pockets and a new interior ultrasonic weld pocket."

"Great jacket! Perfect cut, so far it's proven to be very durable. Not too flashy -- looks a bit understated (in color) which makes it good (unlike some other jackets that I've seen) to wear both on the trail and in the city. When looking for a waterproof, breathable jacket in Canada, MEC provided what seemed to be the best value for the money. No regrets -- try it!"

"This is a great jacket that is going to keep you nice and dry from the rain but doesn't allow your sweat to build up on the inside. I have yet to find any problems with the jacket. I have seen other reviewers complain about the outside pockets being at chest level."
