I got a good deal on these boots from Sierra Trading…

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Materials: Leather
Use: Mountaineering
Break-in Period: 30 + miles
Weight: 5 Lbs. / Pair
Price Paid: $150

I got a good deal on these boots from Sierra Trading Post. They are sturdy and the sole provides good traction on wet and icy rock. The fit can be a problem because they have a small toe box, anybody with large feet will most likely have a problem. I used them on one trip to climb Mount Tyndall in the Sierra. The seam on the side of the tongue split open after about 15 miles. I returned them due to the split seam and the fact that the toe box didn't have room for heavy winter socks.
