I went cheap and sort of paid the price. The adhesion of the inner liner is severly weakened by repeated exposure to snow and sun. Top of inner shoe collapsed at about 12 months, creating a sharp downward bulge above the toes on both boots.

I love them. Incredibly comfortable, very stable, robust, and totally waterproof. Get hot in summer, as any leather boot will, but well worth it.
