When I bought these boots, I thought they were great. However, after a while I noticed during longer walks they started to make bruises to the back of my ankle. Because of the gore-tex, it was useless to try to form them with water, and I wondered what to do. Then I tried to put piece of soft material between the back of the boot and my ankle, and it worked fine. After couple of weeks of everyday use I removed them and I noticed that the boots were streched/formed so that they weren't unpleasent anymore. Ever since I havent had any problems with them. Good pair of boots for that price, after reformation
